Learning Outcomes of UE
Master and explain the basics concerning karst and natural hazards and risks; analyse case studies.

Type of Assessment for UE in Q1
Q1 UE Assessment Comments
Oral examination during the regular examination period without class notes or laboratory notes. Evaluation on all of the material.
Each student draws the first question dealing with knowledge and understanding of notions explained during the lectures. Each student gives a presentation on his answer (prior written preparation of maximum 30 minutes) and replies to oral questions on this presentation.
There is a second part of the exam : each student gives a short presentation (7 slides - 7 minutes) of a case study and replies to oral questions on this presentation.
Evaluation : evaluation during the field trip, 10% of the mark; exam, 90% of the mark (part 1: 40%, part 2: 50%).
