Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Use of thermodynamic properties calculation procedures (pure compounds and mixtures). Design and calculate vapor compression refrigeration machines and heat pumps. Calculate the energy performances of sorption refrigeration machines and heat pumps. Analyse complex energy processes. Be familiar with refrigerant nomenclature. Describe the role of the technical components of a refrigeration machine.
Content of UE
Analysis of complex energy production systems. Develop simulation tools for refrigeration machines and heat pumps performance calculations. Sorption machines: fundamental concepts. Introduction to heat pumping technologies for space heating.
