Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
The objective of this course is to initiate the students to the recent field of Bioinspired Chemistry. We will explore and take inspiration from structures and assemblies found in Nature to design new approaches to be applied to non-biological issues, of interest in the domains of self-organization, nanosciences, surfaces, energy, and catalysis.

I. Concepts in Bio-inspired Chemistry : Bioinspiration, Biomimicry; Self- Assembly, Cooperativity Molecular machines, receptors, artificial enzymes II. Analytical Methods for Bio-inspired systems III. Applications : DNA-templating / Bioinspired surfaces / Biomineralization / Artificial Photosynthesis / Bioinspired catalysis
