Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this teaching unit, students will be able:- To provide tracks to promote the potential abilities of persons with disabilities,- To provide assessment tools based on the objectives and issues presented,- To quote the specificities related to the behavioral and psychological symptoms of people with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders- To explain the nosographic classifications and to locate a person with disabilities- Interact with a person with intellectual disabilities and / or learning disability and / or a multidisciplinary team
Content of UE
This course will address, in particular, intellectual disabilities and the autism spectrum disorders and their conceptual developments and support. In a longitudinal perspective, we will see the specific periods of life of people with disabilities, the announcement of disability to the accompaniment of the adult, through adolescence. We will study the existing key concepts of support and discuss the changing perceptions of society and diagnostic classifications. We will finally study assessment tools used in coaching.
