Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this programme component, students will master Dutch at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages, as for receptive competences. They will be at level B2 for productive competences.
They should be able to:
- understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning;
- interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain foreither party;
- produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
Content of UE
Commented reading of a large range of texts. Commented listening activities, based on audio(visual) resources. Oral and written production exercises: written texts and oral utterances in Dutch on various topics. Systematic and appropriate use of grammar and vocabulary.
