Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this UE, students will be able to:
- understand the challenges of general translation and make the necessary research to solve those challenges;
- translate general texts in written and with a high degree of precision, in a correct French and in the appropriate style.
Content of UE
Written translation of non-specialized texts of variable length and style, with highlighting of the common translation pitfalls and of the intertextual conventions in the source and target language.
Prior Experience
A language proficiency level equivalent to level B1 (as for receptive competences) on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages-scale (CEF) in any Scandinavian language.
