Description of the modifications to the Q3 2020-2021 assessment procedures (Covid-19)
Remote oral examination. "The examination covers all of the material as contained in the textbook of the History of Contemporary Belgium (Society and institutions): 12 chapters, introduction and conclusion. The principles and methods of evaluation remain fundamentally the same than those presented during the course in September and December 2020 with regard to the oral examination which was organized in January 2021. In August, the tests will be organized via Microsoft Teams UMONS, as agreed with the Faculty and with the School of Human and social sciences In the event of connection difficulty, another communication platform could be adopted, via an email (philippe.destatte@umons.ac.be) or telephone exchange with the student. the examination is not limited to the restitution of the material, but also to the understanding of the mechanisms, evolutions, factors and historical actors. By participating in the exam, the student agrees to respect the rules of ethics and in particular the honesty that the professor expects from him, as if he were in person. "

Examen oral à distance.
"L'examen porte sur l'ensemble de la matière telle que contenue dans le manuel d'Histoire de la Belgique contemporaine (Société et institutions) : 12 chapitres, introduction et conclusion. Les principes et les modalités d'évaluation restent fondamentalement les mêmes que celles présentées au cours en septembre et décembre 2019 pour ce qui concerne l'examen oral qui a été organisé en janvier 2020. En août, les épreuves seront organisées via Microsoft Teams UMONS, ainsi que convenu avec la Faculté et avec l'École de Sciences humaines et sociales. En cas de difficulté de connexion, une autre plateforme de communication pourrait être adoptée, via un échange mail (philippe.destatte@umons.ac.be) ou téléphonique avec l'étudiant(e). Comme en présentiel, l'examen ne se limite pas à la restitution de la matière, mais aussi à la compréhension des mécanismes, évolutions, facteurs et acteurs historiques.
En participant à l'examen, l'étudiant s'engage à respecter les règles d'éthique et en particulier d'honnêteté que le professeur attend de lui, comme s'il était en présentiel."
