Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Identify current technological possibilities for electric vehicles. Understand the main criteria for dimensioning a power train. Understanding and implementing speed control for the main electric motors.
Content of UE
requirements for an electric vehicle; mechanical aspects of an electric power train: transmission possibilities; types of vehicles (full electric, hybrid, railway); current limitations of batteries; dimensioning elements of an electric motor for traction engine; principles of speed control applied to the main electric motors (direct current, synchronous, asynchronous); vector control

Type of Assessment for UE in Q2
Q2 UE Assessment Comments
Written project report (weighting: 40% of the score of the learning activity) to be submitted at least one week before the exam date.
Written examination for a maximum of 2 hours (weighting: 60% of the score of the learning activity). The examination matter covers the course theory and the project.
Type of Assessment for UE in Q3
Q3 UE Assessment Comments
Written project report (weighting: 40% of the score of the learning activity).
Written examination for a maximum of 2 hours (weighting: 60% of the score of the learning activity). The examination matter covers the course theory and the project.
Regarding the project, two cases may occur:1) the student has obtained at least 12/20 for the project: the project mark is automatically reported with the same weighting as in Q2) the student has not obtained 12/20 in his project: he is asked to submit a new written report at least one week before the exam date. He must eventually complete his study whether certain outcomes are missing. The written report is subject to a new evaluation.
