Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Have acquired highly specialised and integrated knowledge and broad skills in the various disciplines of computer science, which come after those within the Bachelor's in computer science.

Learning Outcomes of UE

To understand the status of the current telecommunication industry; to set qualitatively the role of each element in the global transmission chain; To identify the perturbators sources (channel, noises, distortions); to estimate and compare the different modulation (analogue and digital) and coding options in a concrete case;  to acquire a long lasting 'telecommunication spirit' and orders of magnitude.

Content of UE

Telecommunications introduction; Constitutive elements of a transmission chain; Analogue telecommunications; Baseband or bandpass digital telecommunications; channel capacity; Multiplexing;
