Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
understand main methods used to describe curves, surfaces and volumes for engineering application (conical projection, axonometry, cylindrical projection and analytical modelling) understand technical drawing and use of standards (introduction to standardisation) use with ease a computer aided design software to model complex shapes, produce technical drawing and perform surface rendering model complex surfaces (cylindrical, revolution, conic, ruled) using analytical geometry solve planar and spatial geometric problems using analytical geometry develop space vision competence and solve spatial problems
Content of UE
descriptive geometry (cylindrical projections, axonometry, conical projection applied to 2D and 3D space including non-polyhedral volumes) and technical drawing analytic, vectorial and differential geometry basis of computer graphics and surface rendering
Prior Experience
basic of geometry, algebra, calculus and trigonometry geometry tested during entrance examination
