Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Acquire the notion of the scientific approach in physics as well as the basics of geometrical optics, wave physics, and electricity and magnetism. Solve a contextual problem. Understand and use an experimental setup.
Content of UE
Q1 :
- What is Physics ?
- Geometric optics : nature and propagation of light; reflection; refraction; mirrors; diopters; lenses; eye; colors; optical systems; instruments.
- Wave physics : generalities; interferences; standing waves; diffraction; beats; electromagnetic waves; acoustic waves.
Q2 :
- Electricity and magnetism : electrostatics; electrokinetics; electrodynamics; electromagnetism; alternating current.

Physics and basic mathematics (secondary school teaching level).
