      Content of Learning Activity

      Fundamentals of synchronous machines; single-phase and three phase circuits; transformers: under no load and load conditions, as well as in short circuit; asynchronous/induction machines in steady-state: balance of power, electromagnetic torque, circle diagram, speed-torque characteristic, slip, efficiency, influence of rotor resistance, frequency and stator voltage. Fundamentals of DC machines.
