Content of Learning Activity
The beginning of the course will be devoted to the theoretical phasings resuming the exposition of the main stages of the course. The course schedule will be established and presented and the cases worked on will be described.
The next step will consist of cases analysis in class and/or by group (remotely).
Depending on the availability of professionals, conferences may also be organized.
Students will work in groups to analyze a company's financing mechanism, write a report and make a presentation to the class.
The main educational objectives will be:
- Being able to analyze a situation, understand it and synthesize it
- Be able to identify the specific determinants of a funding policy
- Make students understand the opportunities for business creation by identifying needs, proposing solutions and studying a market
- Allow students, using the theoretical tools seen in class, to represent an economic model or conceptualize a market
- Learn and analyze a situation of entrepreneurial failure linked to specific strategic decisions and understand how an entrepreneurial failure can become a lever for future entrepreneurial success
- Work in collaborative mode and stimulate participants' thinking
- Show critical thinking, understand the constraints, obligations, advantages and disadvantages of a choice of financing.
