Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Instruct an architectural issue
    • Study the different components of a theme to articulate its findings in a comprehensive summary
    • Build an architectural culture based on theoretical and critical knowledge and personal reading
    • Contextualise their approach to architecture
    • Develop teamwork
    • Plan and organise architecture projects adapted to a context
  • Develop a spatial response
    • Master the means of oral, written and graphic expression
    • Develop a project methodology integrating the various constraints related to the architectural discipline
    • Design a project, taking into account the different scales of analysis
    • Develop a creative approach from a set of constraints
    • Develop a personal and creative project of architectural composition
  • Implement an identified spatial response
    • Adopt an applied scientific approach
    • Integrate technical dimensions in the project
    • Reconcile the creative and functional dimensions in the project
    • Adapt their structural, technical and formal choices according to the principles and values of project.
  • Interact with all actors
    • Master the different means of expression available to the architect to communicate to informed publics, or not
    • Develop a professional attitude
    • Integrate and work in a team
    • Integrate the different expectations of stakeholders related to architecture and urban planning
    • Provide, share and defend their ideas in collective discussion related to governance frameworks.
  • Make choices
    • Demonstrate reflexivity, openness and initiative

AATerm 2 Assessment - comments
A-CARC-035.Attendance at tutorials is mandatory with a check at the end of each session. These Tutorials result in a series of interim evaluations (MCQ/Tutorial Report) that form part of the final evaluation of the AA. Failure to attend the tutorial sessions and/or failure to submit the associated assignments will result in a zero rating.  Only absences due to force majeure will be taken into account on the basis of a valid receipt to be submitted to the secretariat within 24 hours of the session concerned.
Other than these intermediate evaluations, the final evaluation will consist of the submission of a modelling work to be carried out on one of the software packages (details and modalities of choice will be given at the beginning of the course) which may be the subject of a presentation, the modalities of which will be specified before the examination session and/or an evaluation during examination session. The final choice of weighting between the different modes of evaluation will be specified at the beginning of the course (introductory course) and communicated via its Moodle page and/or Teams group.
