Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Development or use of simulation tools; Process design or optimization, conception or improvement of materials; Integration of security aspects, economical and environmental constraints; Valorizing individual work; oral and written communication in English.
Practice professional activities outside the university: practise scientific, technical and methodological knowledge in professional context
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
27 half-days of activities linked to the realisation of a project based on the development of digital tools (programming language or software) for the simulation, modelling or optimisation of a problem integrating technological or design aspects (possible integration of notions of molecular modelling, choice of materials, resources, process engineering and optimisation exploiting certain theories and opening up new perspectives); individual personal work (the student must be involved in his project). (9 ECTS)
Practical professional activities are offered (1 ECTS) and managed by the professors according to opportunities. These may include participation in conferences, scientific workshops, industrial training courses or creative activities.

| I-GRCM-046 | Deliverables defined by the project's supervisor and a report in English for the supervisor ; Short oral presentation in English (5 - 8 min) of a poster written in English. The poster will summarize the whole research. The presentation will be followed by a discussion. Jury defined by the chemistry and materials science diploma commission (ComDipl). English communication (evaluated by a member of SLI) : Poster + presentation of the poster and discussion; Grading: evaluation by the supervisor: 60%, Jury: 40% including technical aspect of the poster, presentation and discussion (25%) and English (oral and written expression) (15%) |
