Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
- Master expertise.
- Have developed the knowledge and skills acquired in the previous cycle to a level that extends beyond the Bachelor's course in Physics, and which provides the basis for the development and implementation of original ideas in a professional context.
- Have reached a level of knowledge and skill giving them access to the third cycle of the study programme / doctoral studies (only for two-year Master courses).
Learning Outcomes of UE
To master specific knowledge linked to advanced ceramics processing properties and applications
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
History of advanced ceramics, application fields, economical aspects. Applications : mechanics and thermo-mechanics, bio-ceramics, electro-ceramics, energy and environment. Processing of bulk products : powders synthesis, sintering / microstructure control, processes combining shaping and sintering ; Specific processes : ceramic composites, porous ceramics, coatings.
Prior Experience
General knowledges on structures and properties of cristalin solides and glasses. General knowledges on processing of "conventional" ceramics
