Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
By the end of the course, the student will be able to define the concepts of communication, culture and interculturality through History, distinguish the main theories of intercultural communication and apply their teachings in a context of globalized and connected environment.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
The course is divided into two parts: (1) in the theoretical part, we will define the main concepts and theories of intercultural communication and deal with the links between communication, interculturality (culture shock, misunderstandings, stereotypes, prejudices, mediation) and translation. (2) In the practical part, we will focus on case studies and training to real-life situations.
Tutoring workshops for writing an academic paper will be organized throughout the semester.
