Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of the Course in Translation of Scandinavian (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian) Texts with Specialised Focus, students will be able to:
- understand the challenges of this sort of translation and make the necessary research to solve those challenges;
- translate Scandinavian (Dansih, Swedish, Norwegian) texts with specialised focus in written and with a high degree of precision, in a correct French and in the appropriate style.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Written translation of Scandinavian (Danish, Swedish, Norwegien) texts with specialised focus, of variable length and style, with highlighting of the common translation pitfalls and of the intertextual conventions in the source and target language.
Prior Experience
To master at least one of the Scandinavian languages at minimum level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages, as for receptive competences.
