Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
At the end of this course, students will be able to
- read, analyse, understand texts in modern and contemporary Chinese of various genres, types, subjects, themes and registers, in particular literary texts, in all their components (including lexicon, stylistics, intertextuality and socio-cultural components);
- synthesise complex statements, including argumentative and literary ones, orally or in writing, in French and Chinese;
- criticize narrative texts with the help of the tools of narratology;
- to master and accurately use the linguistic and intercultural resources offered by the texts studied in personal productions, including French-Chinese translations.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Reading and critical analysis of modern and contemporary Chinese texts, especially literature; oral and written productions (literary analyses, syntheses, presentations on a general theme, FR-CH and CH-FR translations, etc.).
Prior Experience
Chinese language level C1 of the CEFR.

Passing the continuous assessment exercises may lead to exemption from the final exam or will be included in the final exam mark. Regular attendance is required. If the number of unjustified absences exceeds 30% of the total number of classes, the student will not be allowed to take part in the end-of-term exam and will automatically receive a 0/20 grade for the exam. |
