Content of Learning Activity
Théory of architecture III : architectures, urbanismes, societies, démocracies and sustainbility.
1. Representation of architecture in its many dimensions: functional, technical, artistic, etc. from Alberti to Alexander
Types of architectural analysis and critic analysis of architecture. Creation of analysis grids(Von Meiss, Zevi, Ascott...). The impact of reprensentation on build environment trought modernity and sustainable development.
2. Theory of architecture in the twentieth century (Gropius, Huet...). Dominant concepts (autonomy - hétéronomy; mass housing, urbanistic ; vitruvian articulation) and main critical debates (May, Hilbersheim, Jencks, Magnaghi...) from modernity to sustainability.
3. Evolution of the architect's role (Michel Ragon et Yves Dauge (senat)...) and its adaptation to sustainable issues.
These three parts are continuously bind to a theory of the sustainble goals (see UE).
