Content of Learning Activity
The Master's thesis is the result of collaboration between the student and his or her promoter(s).
Student and promoter are strongly invited to establish an initial supervision agreement, setting out in writing:
- objectives and prerequisites with the memorator, to ensure follow-up;
- the rhythm of the meetings;
- the production of intermediate results capable of guaranteeing compliance with deadlines and the expected level of quality.
These mutual commitments are intended to ensure the monitoring of the work, but also to protect the student and promoter in the event of non-compliance with expectations.
In addition to the collaboration between the student and his promoter(s), the progress of the end-of-study work could be discussed, debated or be the subject of a reflective approach based on chosen methods or themes, as part of the "Introduction to research" course and the "Urban planning debates: critical readings of texts" course.
