Content of Learning Activity
The second part of the course focuses on the "landscape project". Through an alternation between theoretical courses and a simulation exercise, the students will have to think about a landscape project.
The class is delivered following different themes: - The concept of Landscape (notion of scale, space, vision, perspective, etc...) - Development of landscapes (change, transformation, mutation, etc...) - City and urbanity (public space, vegetal space, practice of the space, ...) - Nature and landscape (what is 'natura'l, 'artificial', management, ...) - Gardens (brief historical perspective and perception of gardens across time) - Other ways to consider lanscape (Land art, ...)
