Content of Learning Activity

Supported by the objectives of sustainable development, learning focuses on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge linked to understanding the heritage values of a property and to architectural intervention in existing buildings. The course provides the theoretical foundations needed to follow up project 6.

. - Notions of heritage and monument.
  - Evolution of intervention philosophies.
  - Notions related to the types of interventions (conservation, restoration, rehabilitation, reconversion, renovation, recycling).
  - Legislation and doctrinal texts.
  - Introduction to preliminary studies.

The course is widely illustrated with concrete examples. Short exercises carried out in groups allow the different notions covered to be put into practice.
