      Content of Learning Activity

This course explores fundamental mechanisms of cells differentiation, transforming them from an undifferentiated state into specialised cell types.
It will focus on the molecular mechanisms underlying differentiation, the complex interactions between genes and transcription factors, and the epigenetic processes that regulate gene expression in the stability of differentiated cell states.
The role of the cellular microenvironment in influencing differentiation by providing physical and chemical signals will also be discussed.
