Content of Learning Activity
The objective of this learning activity is
- that the student adopts an approach aimed at limiting drug cascades,
- that he detects drug-induced iatrogenic events and takes measures to limit them
- that he adopts the appropriate measures : notifications to pharmacovigilance, consultation of risk management plans, contact with the prescribing physician, etc.
The detection of adverse effects will be approached on the basis of common complaints encountered in pharmacies (in the form of clinical cases or lectures). Students' attention will be drawn to the drugs most at risk of exhibiting toxicity, for example drugs with a short therapeutic-toxic index and anticancer drugs ...
Some pharmacological classes will be addressed more specifically: NSAIDs, corticosteroids, proton pump inhibitors ...
