Content of Learning Activity

The students will demonstrate a good mastery of the French language, in particular :
-of the spelling system (usage and grammar) of the French language


The following agreements will have to be mastered:
Agreement of the noun , Agreement of the verb, Agreement of the adjective, Agreement of the attribute of the subject, Agreement of the past participle, 
Grammatical homonyms
Conjugation 

-understanding of expository and argumentative texts using :
Decoding skills: The student must be able to identify written words.
Language skills: The student must understand the meaning of the words (lexicon) and the relationships between the words in the sentence (syntax).
Textual skills: The student must understand punctuation marks, different ideas and text cohesion (thanks to connectors for example)
Referential skills: The student knows and/or understands the topics covered.
Strategic skills: The student must be able to regulate, control and evaluate his reading activity


A diagnostic/dispensatory compulsory  test will be organised at the beginning of the year.
