Content of Learning Activity
Chapter I - The clinical interview - Basic concepts. This chapter is divided into three parts: (A) Definition and common factors; ( Analysis of the request, definition of objectives, and importance of the setting; and (C) The therapeutic alliance.
Chapter II - Conducting the clinical interview. This chapter covers (A) therapeutic techniques to be used; ( the stages of the interview; and (C) the specific setting of the clinical interview in teleconsultation and during virtual reality exposure.
Chapter III - Difficulties encountered during the clinical interview. This chapter covers the therapist's beliefs, relational pitfalls, and managing difficult emotions.
Chapter IV - Assessment in the clinical interview. This chapter addresses the concept of clinical reasoning and assessment.
