The theoretical part of the course is built around different axes:
- History of the discipline
- Study techniques
- Categories of behavior according to their innate or learned nature
- Triggering behaviors
- Communication (including courtship)
- Aggressive behaviors and ways to control them
- Social behaviors, origins, hierarchy and social organization
The practical part includes laboratory sessions and field observation sessions. Depending on possibilities and conditions, a session can be organized in the evening.
Attendance at the course and practical sessions is mandatory.
