    Content of Learning Activity

Introduction to Surface tension capillarity and fluid flow (flow of Euler, Stokes, Laplace pressure) Capillary length influence of gravity Anchorage (chemical and physical changes of surfaces) Applications (floating objects, surfactants dynamic fluid spreading, capillary rise, capillary adhesion, textured surfaces)
Introduction to viscoelasticity, complex liquids, the unexpected behaviors of the complex fluids (shear thinning, shear thickening, etc). Introduction to the main rheological models allowing to describe some viscoelastic materials, including polymers.
