Content of Learning Activity
-Practical French-to-English translation exercises, both written and oral, based on general texts and requiring critical use of documentation available for informational and linguistic purposes.
-Exercises in comparative linguistics with special focus on linguistic issues that commonly cause problems in FR-EN translation.
-Exposition of certain types of errors commonly made by non native speakers of the target language.
