Content of Learning Activity
Theoretical component: from the theoretical foundations of reasoned translation and translation project management (including translational metalanguage) to the evaluation of translations, including the process of understanding the text prior to its re-expression in the target language.
Practical component: - reasoned, methodical and practical learning of general translation; use of technical terms specific to the translation profession; knowledge of the translation market and available information sources; knowledge of practical aspects of the profession; use of dictionaries/terminology databases.
