Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Instruct a question on architecture and urban planning
    • Develop teamwork
    • Consolidate their architectural and urban culture with a research approach
    • Finalise architecture and urban planning projects adapted to a context
    • Identify the different working hypotheses in relation to an architecture or town planning problem

Learning Outcomes of UE

Understand and implement the project; research or critique certain concepts and methods of the city and society. This course is particularly based around issues of governance and project, citizen involvement, representation of the city, and urban and rural images in the current context of sustainable development. These questions are tackled in order to help understand how to react regarding aspects of governance. Concrete cas bien to real sample of participation in architecture will be encouraged. This course could also open opportunities to develop a PhD.
Attendance at practical sessions is compulsory.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

The course aims above all the participation of academics in sustainable development in the sense of the UN:
Particularly its goal #1 of sustainable development aiming at the eradication of poverty, but also the fight against climate change, energy, the reduction of inequalities, gender equality... all for health and well-being through the care of living places. More details see Learning Activity

A-ARSO-505Evaluate the implementation of the theoretical elements through a practical exercise (see syllabus and course). Assessment is based on continual assessment (coaching course) and the work completed (detailed analysis report and summary of proposals for personal criticism). It is supported by the Moodle platform.
The final work must be downloaded on Moodle before 11:55 p.m., in end november or early December (exact date will be specified folowing the choose of the type of work).
A paper version must be left at the Secretariat on the first business day following that date.
Take care of this, because a delay may cause a final score of 0/20.
