Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Skills for organising and supporting learning in an evolving dynamic.
    • Understand the subject content, its epistemological foundations, its scientific and technological development, its didactics and teaching methodology.
    • Understand the learning process and research the various models and theories of teaching.

Learning Outcomes of UE

The aim of this course is to provide students with general notions of biological Anthropology with a major focus on paleoanthropology.These concepts are essential for future secondary school biology professors who will have to teach the theory of evolution relating to the human species.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

The course is focused on the biological topics of modern Anthropology : 1. Introduction (definition and orientations of modern Anthropology); 2. Evolution of Primates; 3. Evolution and characteristics of Hominidae (Paleoanthropology); 4. Evolution and human behaviour; 5. The race concept and human genetic diversity; 6. Demography

The course is given entirely in French.
