Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Practical training in conservation biology for eco-advisers with a focus on terrestrial ecosystems and on Belgium.
Training for BOE students who would like to specialize in conservation biology.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
The course covers the following topics: Features of the Anthropocene; Methods in conservation biology; Population monitoring; Bio-indicators; Eco-toxicology; Conservation genetics; Actions in conservation policy; Legislation at different geographical scales; Action plans.
Prior Experience
Basic knowledge in ecology, general biology, genetics, botany and zoology.
