S-CHIM-875The student will study a scientific article and produce a PowerPoint presentation to summarize the scientific work presented in the publication. The PowerPoint presentation will be delivered orally for 10 to 15 minutes, highlighting the concepts and information from the lecture. Following this presentation, a scientific discussion and specific questions will be used to assess the candidate's knowledge.

S-CHIM-875The exam consists of presenting a research article selected with the teacher. The presentation of the article takes around 10 minutes, based on a 5-10 slide powerpoint, and gives rise to a 20-minute discussion with the teacher, who will use the concepts seen in class.

The make-up assessment in Q3 will be organized in the same manner as the main exam in Q1 but may be defined by the submission of a work in exceptional situations. This decision will be at the discretion of the instructor and cannot be proposed directly by the student.

In case of proven plagiarism with aggravating circumstances of incorrect bibliographic referencing for the concerned part of the work, the grade for the unit will be zero out of twenty (0/20), and the case will be referred to the deliberation committee to decide on the appropriateness of further sanctions.
