Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Establish the relation between the various properties ;
Describe equilibria between phases in thermodynamic terms, from ideal cases to real cases;
Apply the laws of thermodynamics to equilibria between fluid phases (gas, liquid, solid);
Apply the laws of thermodynamics to processes occurring within dense phases (liquid and solid);
Determine the thermodynamic properties and chemical equilibria of systems involving one or more constituents, one or more phases and one or more chemical reactions;
Use these relationships to solve classic chemical engineering operations (distillation, absorption, adsorption, extraction, precipitation, chemical reactions, etc.).
Use of software to calculate thermodynamic properties.
