Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
For Heat transfer - Complements :
Understand, analyse and solve heat transfer problems :
- identify and explain the involved physical phenomena and influential parameters ;
- write the equations of the problem (energy balance, heat fluxes, ...) ;
- evaluate the equations parameters (heat transfer coefficients, physical properties, geometrical quantities, ...) ;
- develop and apply the appropriate solution method of the equations.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
Pedagological coherence between Fluid mechanics and Heat transfer :
- physical phenomena involving the principle of energy conservation.
- mutual influence between mass transfer, heat transfer, flow and boundary layer.
- use of some identical dimensionless numbers and physical properties.
- use of simplified solutions or numerical methods using similar principles.

Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Mathematics.
