Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
- Mobilise a structured set of scientific knowledge and skills and specialised techniques in order to carry out missions of chemical engineering and materials science, using their expertise and adaptability.
- Master and appropriately apply knowledge, models, methods and techniques specific to the field of chemistry and materials science.

To master specific knowledge linked to advanced ceramics processing properties and applications
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
History of advanced ceramics, application fields, economical aspects. Applications : mechanics and thermo-mechanics, bio-ceramics, electro-ceramics, energy and environment. Processing of bulk products : powders synthesis, sintering / microstructure control, processes combining shaping and sintering ; Specific processes : ceramic composites, porous ceramics, coatings.
Prior Experience
General knowledges on structures and properties of cristalin solides and glasses. General knowledges on processing of "conventional" ceramics
