Learning Outcomes of UE

Acquire the fundamental concepts.
Master the specific vocabulary, symbols, nomenclature... in order to write an explanation, a demonstration.
Verify that the student is able to understand a message, analyse its structure and identify central ideas, and search for useful information expressed in various forms (graphs, equations, tables, etc.).
Develop the capacity to develop syntheses (fact sheets, summaries, concept maps, etc.).
Help students solve problems: recognize useful laws, data, conduct logical reasoning to quantitative response, estimate orders of magnitude and the appropriate number of significant figures.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

The EU of disciplinary upgrading concerns scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics).
Content :
- Improve learning in secondary education.
- Review and fill gaps in the courses offered in the first four-month of block 1 of bachelor's degree in medicine, biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.
- Prepare for the form of the entrance exam to medicine (summary MCQ sessions).

Prior Experience

Proficiency in oral and written French language.
Mastery of the 4 fundamental mathematical operations in elementary algebra.
