    • Manage time
    • Prioritise
  • Manage their studies
    • Self-assess and give feedback

Learning Outcomes of UE

The learning outcomes of this UE are the same than those of the UE "Biomedical Physics". The student will have refined his knowledge in general physics (kinetics, dynamics, mechanics, fluids, optics, waves, electromagnetism and modern physics). He will understand the physical principles involved in different biological or biomedical applications as:
-biomechanics,
-blood flow,
-elasticity,
-hearing and vision,
-nerve pulses,
-biomedical imaging.
Finally he will be able to develop a scientific method, to analyze experimental results, to estimate an error and to realize and interpet a graph.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

The content of this UE are the same than that of the UE "Biomedical Physics". Review important notions of general physics as cinematics, dynamics and newtonian mechanics, and also the mathematics methods useful for physics. Study the physical aspects of some biomedical applications such as:
-biomechanis,
-fluid static and Laplace law,
-non viscous and viscous fluid mechanics applied to bloodstream,
-geometrical optics and functionning of the eye.
-waves, hearing and voice,
-electromagnetism,
-nerve impulses,
-medical imaging,
-modern physics and radioactivity.
To develop a scientific method to estimate errors during the pratical works.
