Learning Outcomes of UE

This training will provide the necessary understanding of microbes (bacteria and viruses), modes of transmission and infection cycle, and diagnostic procedures. During this apprenticeship, the student will learn measures to prevent and control those infections and he will be able to have an appreciation for news related to Microbiology (outbreaks, emerging bugs, ...).

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

This UE is composed of 1 AA divided into several chapters: I/ Introduction II/ Basics of Bacteriology III/ Basics of Virology IV/ Host-pathogen relationship V/ Microbiological diagnosis VI/ prevention and control measures
