Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

At the end of this learning unit, the student will be able to respond to pharmaceutical requests based on notions of semiology. The student will be able to provide a response adapted to the specificities of the patient (ages, pathologies, physiological states, etc.) in terms of general advice on good uses of drugs (prescribed and OTC), herbal medicine, aromatherapy, good uses of antibiotics and antivirals. At the end of the EU, the student will also be able to work for the reduction of antimicrobial resistance and apply a pharmaceutical care approach.

Q1 UE Assessment Comments

Minimum presence of 75%

Practical work in Advice and follow-up at the pharmacy (general) (Q1)
Continuous evaluation taking into account participation and written work to be submitted during the lessons.
The evaluation of this UE is a continuous evaluation : participation during the sessions, oral presentations, the reports and the work

Pratical work in Aromatherapy and herbal medicine (Q1)
Continuous evaluation in the form of a scenario in learning lab

Method of calculating the overall mark for the Q1 UE assessment

Presence at sessions at the pedagogical pharmacy (seminars) is compulsory. The student must count at least 75% of attendance at seminars. ANY absence must be justified

If all AAs have a score greater than or equal to 10/20:
Advice and follow-up at the pharmacy (general): 6/9
Aromatherapy and herbal medicine: 2/9
Elements of semiology: 1/9

If at least one AA has a score below 10/20, the EU score will be the lowest AA score.
