Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

Learning Outcomes of UE

Develop specific knowledge when welcoming the patient and his entourage
Be aware of the importance of reception in the overall process of supporting the patient and the pharmacist-patient relationship Identify and acquire appropriate attitudes to establish a framework conducive to welcoming
Explore the psychic underpinnings (personality profile, attachment style, affects) and their influences on the interaction at reception
Relational attitudes: Acquiring the interpersonal skills essential to establishing a relationship of trust Practice basic relational attitudes: listening, openness to meeting, quality of presence, authenticity, availability, empathy
Explore interpersonal communication: Master verbal and non-verbal communication, barriers to communication, reformulation techniques
Know the main parameters of non-verbal communication and their possible clinical/relational meanings
Reflexivity of the practitioner (self-observation: looking inside oneself and looking at oneself as a pharmacist)
Managing Difficult Behaviors: Know the models for managing difficult and aggressive behaviors Understand the attitudes and behaviors found in pathological human functioning and people in crisis
Be aware of relational techniques that promote the establishment of an empathetic relationship

At the end of these lessons, the student will have to (a) adapt his communication to his interlocutor; (b) properly greet the patient; (c) develop relational strategies adapted to the management of difficult attitudes and behaviors of certain patients; (d) analyze and adapt their personal functioning so as not to induce certain aggressive behaviors; (e) provide tools to receive and manage requests related to domestic violence issues.
