Learning Outcomes of UE

The course will explain the main anatomical pathways in the CNS. At the end of the course, the student will know the anatomy of the main ascending and descending pathways in the CNS, as well as the cranial nerves.

UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance

Anatomy of the CNS including the encephalon and the meninges. Study of the ascending and descending tracts in the CNS. Details of the cranial nerves. Study of the arteries and veins in the brain and spinal cord.
