Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the theoretical and methodological fundamentals in psychology and educational sciences to analyse a situation involving these disciplines
    • Identify and explain the concepts, principles and models of fundamental theoretical trends in psychology and educational sciences and their applications
    • Explain and give examples of human functioning, including in its atypical and pathological dimensions
    • Describe the principles of methodological approaches (objectives, methods, techniques and tools) to understand and explain the functioning of individuals, groups and organisations
  • Understand the fundamentals of intervention
    • Describe the steps of the implementation process of interventions and identify the stakeholders involved
    • Explain the concepts and relationships of theoretical models of intervention adopt a critical stance regarding these models.
    • Explain the various issues underlying any intervention, and justify them according to their application context
    • Identify the type of intervention, with reference to a theoretical framework, including the choice of appropriate tools to be implemented based on the analysis of a well-defined situation
  • Provide clear, accurate, and reasoned information
    • Structure data gathered during the analysis of an intervention request
    • Provide information (both orally and in writing) regarding the fields of psychology and educational sciences in an intelligible manner, with a good command of the language communication techniques.
  • Collaborate, work in a team
    • Interact effectively with other students to carry out collaborative projects.
    • Demonstrate active listening and empathy in the context of an interpersonal situation
  • Act ethically and professionally
    • Name, and be familiar with, legal frameworks and ethical principles that govern research and practice in psychology and educational sciences, and implement them in studies in a reflexive manner (exams, work, etc.)
  • Grow personally and professionally
    • Develop their scientific curiosity and open-mindedness

Learning Outcomes of UE

Know the theoretical concepts and the challenges of interventions in the different fields of health psychology.
Know the position of the psychologist in the field of health psychology.
Analyze clinical situations: semiology, diagnostic hypothesis, functioning, proposal for treatment.

Introduction and theoretical framework in health psychology.
Central concepts: stress and adaptation, representation of the disease, prevention: behavior change
The patient and his environment in health psychology: family aspects, caregiver-patient relations
