Learning Outcomes of UE

This course should enable students to acquire a basic understanding of mental disorders. By the end of the course, students should be able to understand the essentials of psychiatric terminology and to describe the main signs and symptoms of the most frequently encountered mental disorders on the basis of basic notions of semiology.
Based on concrete examples given during the course by the lecturer or various contributors, students should acquire a clear vision of psychiatry as a medical discipline, while integrating it into a holistic process of assessment and support for the individual.
