Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
The goal of this course is to allow you to think autonomously in front of a patient for both, his evaluation and his rehabilitation by inviting you to a self-reflective approach. This approach obviously requires the knowledge of typical and atypical development, of numerical cognition models and the research of relevant information.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
This course will focus on :
- the introduction to numerical concepts.
- The several models in numerical cognition.
- The origin of numerical abilities.
- The development of numerical abilities in children.
- The usual developmental and acquired difficulties linked to numerical abilities.
- Dyscalculia and acalculia : definition and origin
- evaluation
- rehabilitation
Both courses will be complementary by approaching the theortical concepts on numerical cognition and its development and then to see the impact of deficits in this domain and to take care of it.
