The learning outcomes targeted are : To cite and appropriate the legal frameworks, ethical and deontological principles that govern research and practice in speech therapy; to implement them in a reflective manner.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
The course will be structured into two main parts:
- the presentation of the main points covered by the code of ethics for speech and language therapists, as well as the legal framework governing the profession (Royal Decree of 20/10/1994 defining the title of speech and language therapist, the minimum conditions for the practice of speech and language therapy, and the associated technical services; Law of 22/08/2002 specifying patients’ rights);
- the application of the acquired knowledge.
