Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
Describe the progressions in the learning of basic mathematical concepts. Identify the didactic variables related to the learning of basic mathematical concepts. Design innovative teaching sequences related to the development of mathematical skills. Identify, understand and treat mistakes in learners' processes. Analyse and design mathematics learning assessment systems.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
The course focuses on the didactic aspects of the development of the mathematical skills described in the curriculum of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. In a perspective of continuity of learning, the course will concentrate on, on the one hand, the transversal skills to be developed and, on the other hand, on different specific mathematical objects: numbers, solids and figures, quantities and data processing.
