Objectives of Programme's Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcomes of UE
This teaching unit aims to make students aware of the issues related to ethics and deontology in their future activities.
- Ethics: to think about the professional's actions in the field of psychology both in the encounter and in society.
- Deontology: explain and problematize the limits of the professional practice framework as well as possible situations where the framework is exceeded.
UE Content: description and pedagogical relevance
- Theoretical tools for ethical reflection in psychology.
- Reflection and debate on some professional practices and some societal problems raising ethical issues in the field of psychology (research, psychological assessments and opinions, pharmacotherapy, etc.).
- Explanation of the legislation of the profession with analysis of the Code of Ethics of Psychologists and its appendices.
- Testimonies from the field of professional practice.
- Ethical issues in psychological research.
